We've been part of Chicago for a long time. Pompei was established by Luigi Davino back in 1909. He called it Pompei because it was located near Our Lady of Pompeii Church. Luigi married Carmella and they had four sons and a daughter. The family lived above the bakery and worked many long hours making only bread and cheese pizza.


Since then, our menu has expanded to what it is today. Our family of locations serves not only bakery goods and pizza, but a full menu of breakfast, lunch and dinner items, with dine-in, delivery, catering and banquet options in Chicago.

We're proud to say that we've been serving families for four generations, and will continue to carry on our family tradition of using only the freshest and finest ingredients. We serve hot, gourmet-quality Italian dishes including hand rolled pizzas and hand cut pastas made from Napolitano family recipes. We use only the freshest ingredients to prepare our made-to-order salads, soups built from scratch, signature pizza strudels and classic Italian pastas, with all sauces and dressing made daily by our chefs.
